Who Needs an L-865 or L-864 Obstruction Light?
The FAA requires an L-864 obstruction light for any structure over 150 feet tall. L-864 obstruction lights are medium intensity lighting designed to mark the top of a structure. Structures less than 150 feet require L-810 obstruction lights.
L-865 obstruction lights are required for structures between 200ft - 700ft.
